The report is based on an interview with Ajan Sawatree Suksri, a lecturer of the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University.
Sawatree has studied computer-related law in Germany. Her conclusion is that Thailand’s 2007 Computer Crimes Act is too ambiguous, especially on “national security,” allowing for “arbitrary interpretations by the authorities.”
