Readers will be interested in the report at Links – International Journal of Socialist Renewal on the red shirt movement 6 months after the crackdown by the military in April 2010. The report has some great pictures and some useful commentary. PPT was struck by this rendition of the slogan most feared by the regime: “Ai-Hia Sung Kha, E-Ha Sung Ying”, which means, “Bastard ordered the killing, bastard ordered to fire”. The slogan is explained: “We chant this, because…. We want to show that we know who ordered to kill and fire.” But she didn’t specify who they meant.”
