PAD and Wikileaks

Bangkok Pundit has a really fine post regarding the response of People’s Alliance for Democracy leadership on Wikileaks.

Essentially, PAD leaders accuse Wikileaks and/or  U.S. Ambassador Eric John of making everything up. That’s on PAD and on the monarchy.

PPT wonders what they will say if and when critical cables are released on Thaksin Shinawatra. PAD is not big on consistency so we imagine that they’ll have a different view of cables the originate from John’s predecessor, Ralph “Skip” Boyce, who was anti-Thaksin. pro-palace and pro-PAD. He had great links with the anti-Thaksin opposition at the time, including regular contact with the coup planners (see here, here, here).
