Suwicha Thakor Speaks!

20 01 2010

On 29 January 2010, Reporters Without Borders (RWB) published a letter written by Suwicha Thakor.  Suwicha was sentenced to ten years in prison in April 2009 for allegedly  posting comments on the Internet that insulted the monarchy.

Suwicha is currently appealing for a royal pardon [which is available to him because he confessed and pled guilty — Da Torpedo chose not to do so]. RWB is supporting this appeal by publishing his letter and starting a petition for his pardon.

In the letter, Suwicha explains that his family is suffering with him in prison, and appeals for justice.
