Rich kid attacker a hero for those who hate red shirts

4 04 2010

In an earlier post PPT included information and an image of the 18-year-old kid who was (we think) arrested for driving his Porsche into motorcycles of red-shirt protesters. The kid was identified as Thanit Thanakijamnuay who also carried a powerful handgun. Thanat turns out to be the grandson of prominent businessman and former Deputy Prime Minister Amnuay Viravan, who has long connections with the anti-red shirt Bangkok Bank. Bangkok Pundit provided a truly disturbing find on this rich kid’s hatred of the red shirts. No it seems that attacking red shirts makes one a hero for some. See this capture of his Facebook page.
