The king is wheeled out again

MCOT News reports that the king joined Princess Sirindhorn to celebrate Loy Krathong at Siriraj Hospital: “The 82-year-old monarch was taken by his chief physician and medical team in a wheelchair to the Siriraj Hospital riverside pier to float his krathong, a tiny lotus-shaped vessel, in the Chao Phraya River.”

It is hardly “tiny”!

The king remains in Siriraj for no reason that makes any sense to anyone. He’s been there for more than 14 months.
