We thought readers might be interested in some statistics on PPT over the two years we have been operating.
To date we have had 510,000 page views. Average page views more than doubled between 2009 and 2010, going from an average of just over 400 a day to just less than 1,000 a day. Not surprisingly, the months of heaviest traffic were April and May 2010.
The pages receiving the most views were: the home page (about a year ago the software began counting “home page” rather than the post on the home page; Pending Cases; About Us; Convictions; and Battle for Bangkok. On posts that go up each day, the big ones have been: Ji Ungpakorn on anger; More royal brilliance?; and Democrats, PAD on political unrest / Red shirt rally.
It is always difficult to pick favorite posts. However, these are those that stick in the mind of our contributors: A country for old men?; The queen and PAD; Chirmsak on civil war; Royal expenses; Class, fear and propaganda; and The monarchy and political campaigns.
