PPT noted a short report at The Nation where Democrat Party No. 1 candidate Abhisit Vejjajiva was confronted by two red shirt women in Bangkok.
The women demanded justice from the premier on the killing of red shirt protesters. The report states that “Abhisit replied that the loss of lives occurred because the men in black attacked troops.”
Asked why he did not order “troops to stop shooting,” Abhisit responded: “that the troops were ordered to stop but they could not pull out because they were surrounded by black-shirt fighters.”
PPT wonders if Abhisit has read any of the reports – by Amsterdam & Perrof, Human Rights Watch and, for May, the preliminary fact finding report by Dr. Bandit Chanrojanakit and his team กลุ่มมรสุมชายขอบ? It seems not.
