Khaosod reports 6 bombings using 12 bombs in 5 areas (Hua Hin, Trang, Phuket, Phang Nga and Surat Thani). The bombings were on Thursday and Friday and seemed to have a pattern of two bombs a short period apart. Two other bombs are reported to have been defused in Phuket. Tourist areas dominate.
The Dictator, junta boss, General “Prayuth Chan-ocha linked it to last Sunday’s charter vote.” He stated: “I will let you consider why it has happened since before the referendum until now,” said junta chairman Prayuth Chan-ocha Friday morning. “Why did it happen when the country is moving forward … who doesn’t want this to happen in Thailand?”
