Prawit and the puppet NACC

1 03 2018

The Watchman, the Deputy Dictator, Gen Prawit Wongsuwan simply rejects any notion that a person in his exalted position and a card-carrying “good person” should have to explain himself to those he considers underlings and lesser persons.

The Bangkok Post reports that Prawit has again ignored the junta’s puppet agency, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).

For the fourth time, the NACC has obsequiously requested Gen Prawit “provide an explanation” for his large collection of very expensive watches.

It is reported that:

The fourth letter was required because the NACC did not receive sufficient information from Gen Prawit after sending him the previous three letters requesting an explanation about the watches in relation to his latest assets declaration….

The NACC has no idea whether Gen Prawit will do anything at all other than to ignore “deadlines.”

The original “deadline” was 18 January. Prawit stalls and ignores and the puppet NACC does nothing much at all. Collusion? Probably. Justice? Never.
