Thai PBS News reports that the “Criminal Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Ms Chatvadee Amornpatc or Rose on lese majeste charge as requested by the police.” These dolts in the police took this action “to seek the court’s warrant for the arrest of Ms Rose who is living in England” and after a “meeting of senior police officers responsible for security issues.” We can only assume that there isn’t half a brain between this lot.
But then we lear that the “meeting was chaired by Pol Gen Somyos Pumpanmuang, the deputy police chief,” who is not just a royalist bumlicker, but has engaged in business dealings associated with the bashing and harrassment of villagers in Loei (scroll down to comments).
Somyos told reporters that:
all concerned police units were instructed to follow up all lese majeste cases which are still pending with the police or which are yet to be lodged with the police.
As for the cases which took place abroad, the deputy police chief said police would seek cooperation from the Foreign Ministry and the Attorney-General’s Office to track down the alleged offenders and to have them extradited to face the law in Thailand.
Another policeman who is unaware of the law anywhere but in a feudal dictatorship.
