Support for a junta

26 05 2025

No, not the military-loving, junta serving, academic prostitute Jade Donavanik calling for another military coup, but his nominated foe, the Paetongtarn Shinawatra government getting into bed with the blood-thirsty, blood-stained junta in Myanmar.

Reuters recently reported that “Thailand will advocate more international engagement with Myanmar at an upcoming Southeast Asia leader summit…”.

Jade and his ilk of royalist military bootlickers would likely support the government on this call.

Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa said the move for international cooperation was meant “to broaden a diplomatic effort to end a protracted civil war.” And it will also prop up the murderous regime.

Since the 2021 military coup, millions have been displaced, injured and killed.

Maris supports the failed Anwar Ibrahim-Thaksin Shinawtra proposals that prop up the military. In an interview with Reuters he babbled about “trying to secure a ceasefire extension to facilitate humanitarian assistance following a devastating March earthquake that killed more than 3,800 people.” As Reuters points out, it is the Myanmar junta has repeatedly breached the “ceasefire.”

Maris says: “We want to change negative thinking that is not productive.” We take it that support for the rebels who are gradually defeating the regime is considered destabilizing and, this, “negative.” Thailand’s support for the regime in Myanmar is a betrayal of those forces. Others giving support to Myanmar’s generals are China and Russia.
