The Nation reports the Thailand’s Supreme Court steadfast rejection of bail requests by Arnon Nampa, who has long been detained on several 112 charges and convictions.

Clipped from a Reuters report
Arnon is “special” for the royalist courts and establishment because they view him as a threat to the ruling class’s royal keystone.
On 25 December 2025, and as expected, the Supreme Court upheld the 22 December decision by the Appeals Court denying bail while he appeals convictions in six Article 112 cases.
The court cited “flight risk in refusing temporary release,” a risk that seems negligible in this case as Arnon has been stoic in defending himself against these political crimes.
Arnon has been convicted by the Criminal Court in some six cases under Article 112.
