Undead princess report III

After years of silence, apart from odd ceremonies for the undead as if she were up and about, the palace has issued a third statement over about a week related to Princess Bajrakitiyabha.

The latest, on 20 August 2025 and was published in the Royal Gazette, and is reported at Prachatai. That announcement is of a military promotion, commanded by her dad, King Vajiralongkorn. General Bajrakitiyabha has been made deputy commander of the Royal Security Command. She was previously chief of staff of the Royal Guards under the Royal Security Command.

This promotion is symbolic. Some on the rumor mill see this as further preparation for the belated announcement of her death. Other consider that it is likely another fatherly acknowledgement of a favorite daughter who he refuses to let go. Of course, some believe that a miraculous recovery is still possible.

As we said in an earlier post, we tend to think/guess that the flurry of announcements has something to do with succession arrangements.
